Who we are

Aurén Monét is a UF company (Ung Företagsamhet) run by four students in Danderyd, Sweden, for the school year. As a UF company we don't have a registered organisation number — the founders listed on this site are personally responsible for how your data is handled. What we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we collect:

• Order details — name, email, phone number, delivery address, and what you ordered, when you check out.
• Account details — if you create an account, your name, email address, and (if you add it) the shipping details saved under "My Account". Account sign-in is handled by Clerk, a third-party authentication provider.
• Order history — if you're signed in when you place an order, a record of that order is saved to your account so you can see it under "Orders".
• Messages — anything you send us through the contact form, a return request or the notify form is emailed straight to us and stored in our inbox.
• Reviews, votes and ideas — what you write in a review or an idea for Carl, with your name, your email and a photo if you add them, is saved in our database and emailed to us. When you vote, all we keep is which paintings you picked, tied to a random id in a cookie, never your name. To stop spam, your IP address is used in scrambled (hashed) form for at most a day.

Why we collect it

We use your data only to process and deliver your order, confirm payment, respond to questions or return requests, and let you manage your account. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of third-party services to run this site: Clerk (sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Resend (sending email), Upstash (the database for reviews, votes and ideas) and Swish (payment). Each only gets the information it needs to do its job, under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep order information for as long as Swedish bookkeeping law requires, and account data for as long as your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time. Reviews and ideas are kept for as long as we need them; ask us any time and we'll delete what you've sent.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw any consent you've given. Email uf.aurenmonet@gmail.com and we'll sort it out directly — no forms, no waiting.
